Things to do in March

1. CAHSEE Testing dates:  English/Language Arts on March 16; Mathematics on March 17.
2. CHSPE Testing date is March 20.  Late registration deadline is March 5.
3. Submit budget calendar to cabinet – early March.
4. Review proposed budget calendar, enrollment projections and budget parameters and present draft budget to cabinet – late March.
5. Make any necessary adjustments through January 31, before submission of second interim report.
6. Second Interim report must be submitted to the County Office of Education by March 15 for districts and Charter Schools.
7. Provide County Office of Education with corrections to annual audit report by March 15.
8. Certification of Coaches for the next school year needs to be completed by April 1.
9. STAR testing dates released by CDE.
10. Appoint individual responsible for reviewing Free & Reduced Lunch applications before STAR testing begins; identify students for the appropriate sub-group for testing purposes.
11. Review Prob 2 certificated personnel lists to determine “non re-election” no later than March 15.
12. R-30 forms for home language survey data are due (Title III requirement) to CDE on or before March 27.
